TED DYKSTRA SR has been in real estate since 1979. He has lived in the Flathead Valley for 45 years, so he is very knowledgeable of the area, especially in vacant land and ranch land. Ted Sr loves outdoor activities, especially working with his horses. He has harvested several trophy animals on his many hunting trips. He is always glad to talk hunting when anyone has a spare minute.
Ted Sr had a trucking business and was a meat cutter prior to entering the real estate profession. He was an officer and is retired from the National Guard.
Ted Sr's wife, Joan, also works in the real estate office and is in charge of public relations and advertising. So the brokerage truely is a family business.
Joan was raised in the Kalispell area. Her great grandfather came to Kalispell in 1884, when Kalispell was not even a city. He had the first dairy in the Flathead. Joan's roots are deep in the Flathead Valley and she wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Ted and Joan enjoy collecting antiques. They have 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
