The Flathead Valley is my idea of paradise. As a fourth generation rancher, I’m right at home in this area. I grew up in Montana and received my BA from the University of Montana. After college I began a satisfying, 38-year career in the dude ranch business. In 1978, with backing from my partners, I designed and built The Home Ranch, an elite Relais & Chateaux property in western Colorado. I was co-owner and manager until my recent retirement, at which time my wife, Nancy, and I moved to Whitefish.
Horses have always been a passion of mine. I have raised, trained, and ridden countless horses and have taught thousands of people to ride. Nancy and I have started our own horsemanship business, Equimersion (check it out at www.lucky2ranch.com). I enjoy writing and performing Western music and love nothing more than playing music with friends. Since moving to the Valley, I’ve taken up leather working and building saddles, great activities for winter evenings.
Although I’m new to real estate, my hospitality background has given me extensive experience with properties. My years in the guest ranch industry have also taught me the value of providing excellent customer service. Because I love this area so much, my enthusiasm about our corner of Montana comes naturally when talking to others. I look forward to handling your real estate needs in the professional, thorough way you deserve. |
